My name is Debbie Allen. When I began my dog training career, I taught dog obedience classes several times weekly. Dog obedience training is a great competitive sport and lots of fun for dogs and their owners. However, most people who brought their dogs to a class were expecting to resolve dog behavior problems instead of having fun. I began to see that many dogs in my classes seemed to be out of control, destructive, full of anxiety and frustrated in spite of training and I wanted to find a solution. I began specializing in dog behavior, completing several behavior courses and developed my own pack behavior study at a local top notch training facility. I branched out with an in-home dog training business, and began working with many dogs and their behavior issues. My solutions to dog behavior problems, however, for the dog owner was short lived,or quick fixes. The first time I saw CESAR MILLAN, I KNEW THIS WAS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!! DOG PSYCHOLOGY My quest to learn Cesar's way, brought me to LINN BOYKE and his renowned dog psychology center in Los Angeles California, ZEN4K9S. Linn is one of only three people who apprenticed with Cesar, and Linn is the only man authorized by Cesar to teach his methods. Linn takes a limited number of students into his life long pack and I was extremely grateful to have been one. My time with Linn was the "missing link" in my attempt to make a real difference for dogs and their humans. DOG LANGUAGE AND CANINE COMMUNICATION Dog psychology AND their language is inherent only to the dog. They can't learn to speak human, but humans can learn to speak dog. It is the humans responsibility to bridge the communication gap. The greatest part of my job is sharing my knowledge with clients and watching them interact with their dog in a more effective way, and seeing the world through their dog's eyes for the first time.
