GROUP CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE
- Consultations are held in the privacy of your home. Consultations are not rushed, so please allow enough time. It is best to
have all family members present so everyone is on the same page. You will learn a lot about dog behavior!!!
- (Assessment) We will discuss the problems you are having with your dog,
- (Evaluation) I will be working with your dog and evaluating his needs.
- (Structure) You will be given structure to work with your dog on a daily basis. You will be comfortable working with your
dog before I leave your home. - Master the Walk: Included in every consultation and the foremost important event you can have with your dog.

The GRATEFUL TOUCH REMOTE TRAINING SYSTEM is a training program that incorporates the use of a
remote training collar in an innovative way. It’s an “old dog” (negative punishment) with a new trick (positive
reinforcement) Using the appropriate amount of stimulation we can teach the dog to feel our voice through a limited
vocabulary.
When someone uses an electronic collar as a means of correction when he does something wrong, you are applying a
punishment to the action. The collar used in this way will damage the dog’s mental balance and destroy the
relationship you have with your dog. That is why my remote training method should only be done by someone who has
extensive knowledge of the dog’s body language and timing. Knowledge of how a dog learns using matching pressure is
essential to success in this program. In the first step, primal bonding with the dog is a prerequisite for the collar.
Someone why understands the difference between guiding the dog to the behavior you want as opposed to punishing
the dog for not doing it right.
In the next step of the program, the dog learns to “feel my voice”. The dog’s brain is dominated by the nose, (60% of
the brain) but still has several other senses. When you use a word or call your dog when he is focused on something
else, the ears hear but the nose remains dominant, keeping the dog focused on what he is targeting. That’s why it
appears that your dog is not listening to you. He can hear you, but his nose is controlling him at that moment. With
the use of a feeling or tactile sense, we can increase the probability of the dog being able to hear and feel what we
want. Our voice becomes the stimulation and the dog associates our voice to a feeling and vice versa. In essence,
the remote training collar becomes a remote “translation” collar
A person who is blind cannot see words and is limited to what they are told and what they can hear, but with a sense
of touch, (Braille language), the blind person is introduced to a whole new world and can “feel” the words on the page.
Once the dog has learned several obedience commands, you will be re-introduced to your dog and YOUR training will
begin.
